Reflective work isn’t always easy. But neither is being unemployed or perpetually dissatisfied. If you don’t want to do the heavy lifting because you just find the exercise too overwhelming, then you’re doing yourself a disservice. Most of us have a career by default versus a career by design. What’s most important in assessments is to find the patterns. Ask yourself what is consistent in your feedback. Also, sometimes the phrasing used in assessments can be helpful for you in describing your skills, strengths or traits.
